The Information

Relics: No one starts with a relic. Your character is allowed to have a weapon or object to assist him or her, but preferably (unless the character lends her/himself to this) these things hold no magical properties. Relics will be obtained throughout the actual story. If you are interested in a relic for your character, I would like it if you submitted this basic form:

Relic: [what card in the minor arcana you have chosen?]
Effect: [the positive and negative effects on your character; does it change her/his personality, or make their powers more difficult to control, or make them physically stronger?]
Form: [the form, if any, the card takes after it is obtained. Anything inanimate: a desk, a book, a sock puppet. Preferrably with some kind of relevance to the power in the card. Does the card remain in an alternate form at all times, or only when your character is transformed?]
Summary: [The summary of your idea for a story. How do you plan on your character obtaining this relic? What is their motive; does he or she want to give it to someone or keep it for him/herself?]

Guardians: There are eight guardians, who can be in any animal form you wish. The guardians include the Kings and Queens of Swords, Cups, Wands and Pentacles. The Kings of each suit are guardians/advisors to the Knights (obviously, each with its respective suit), and obviously the former Kings of their respective planets. The same goes for the Queens, and they are divided so that there are two for each Soldier faction. In Death’s team, Pentacles and Swords, and in Fool’s team are Cups and Wands. With the Queens, anyone within the faction may choose to create the guardian. I have one preference: that the Queen of Pentacles is with Devil. It is not absolutely required of you, but my reasoning is that Pentacles is concerned with material things (gain or loss), and Devil would do well with that. Not mandatory, but it would make me REALLY HAPPY.

The King of Pentacles, therefore, is aligned with the Knight of Pentacles. It is a raven that basically flies around and spies for him, as well as grabbing shiny things to bring back.

Resources/Links

Tarot Card Meanings @ Paranormality.com - this is an amazing resource. There are reversed meanings, planets, elements, etc. All sorts of things to work with. The only unfortunate thing is that the World card appears to have nothing. All other cards are fine, as far as I know.

Tarot: An Introduction - a very basic page that is helpful at least when choosing relics, although the previous site is even better. This just helps you start.

Tarot: The Royal Road - I'm not exactly sure how good this site is, but it seems to have a lot.

In-Depth Zodiac Signs Information - It's not as in-depth as it claims to be, but it's not bad.

If you need more zodiac help and it's important to you, I have an amazing book resource that's really quite funny as well. E-mail me for the sign you are interested in and I can type up some basic information. I'd prefer if you looked for stuff on your own, though.
